We Meet Again

Page 2, Entry 1
After close to a year away from the deviantART community, I have decided to return back to the place I called home when I first joined almost 3 years ago.

A lot has changed in my life since then and I have experienced both the extreme bitterness and sweetness of what life has to offer.

I start a new page of my time here renewed with a strong motivation to try and make a difference on what was once a small "neighbourhood" community.

I would like to thank anyone and everyone that supported and encouraged me in the past and those that will support me in the future (and not forgeting those that suport me in the present).

:bulletgreen: DEVIANT ART:

After looking through my rather sparce & stagnent gallery, i decided to spruce it up a little by replacing the default deviantART poetry & prose image with my own graphics that inject a little bit more life into it and hopefully give my work a little more exposure while browsing the poetry & prose galleries.

At the moment, i am working on a new poem as well prose piece to add to my gallery.

Wrong Planet a short stageplay i wrote & performed is still being edited a little more before publishing it, because i feel the need to give a little more effort towards developing my Smotchbery series.

The orginal Smotchbery Chronicle short story, will soon be revamped and given new life, taking into account all the advice and opinions i got about it when i first published it as well several ideas that i failed to incorporate into it in the first place.

:bulletgreen: REAL LIFE:

My laptop is now completely rid of all traces of Mircosoft and the Mandrake Linux 10 system i am running instead of it is really serving me well.

I Watched Van Helsing not too long ago and was pleasently surprised at how much fun the movie was to watch, who cares if the cirtics said there was no plot? Van Helsing is not the type of movie you watch and expect it to earn an Oscar, it's the type of movie you go to have fun and fun is exactly what the movie does best. If you get a chance, do go out and watch it, you won't be disapointed.

At the moment i am listening to The O.C.: Mix 1, which is an excelent and varied collection of music from the hit TV series, The O.C.

I also happen to be reading the original Dracula novel by Bram Stoker for the fourth time and am still blown away by the great soryline and characters in the book.

End of academic year exams are around the corner, which means i should be busy studying for the next few weeks.

And now the really great news...i have fallen in love! Although i won't tell you much else besides the fact that at this very moment i am the happiest man alive.

Tomatoes, Guns, Old Ladies & Evil Avatars

Sun Mar 28, 2004, 6:10 AM
:bulletgreen: deviantLIFE:

Well after several months with nothing fresh or new in my deviantART gallery, i have submited 'Tomatoes, Guns & Old Ladies', a relatively short monologue i wrote following the success of my previous attempt 'Wrong Planet', containing a bit more traditional humor compared with that of the Smotchberry Universe, i created and upon which Wrong Planet was based.

And on another note, i seem to be handing out alot more :+fav:'s than i am commenting on people's work, something i wish to change, but i have been caught up with alot that's been happening in real life.

:bulletpurple: The Evil Avatar:
A couple of weeks back, i had grown a little fed up with my old avatar and so i decided to try and create an animated one to replace it, sadly it never seemed to work and all i was left with was the first frame.

Yet it packed a little trick up it's pixels...it manages to steal a few minutes off a persons life as they wait for something to happen, the pixels to move, the color to change when in reallity nothing will....<instert evil laughter here>

happymage
Have you been tormented by the wrath of the evil avatar?

Take Care,
Qayser Hequet [*happymage]

P.S., i really apologise if my avatar pissed you off, i really don't mean it too.
